about our community gardens

Community Food Initiatives, in partnership with garden host sites, manages gardening spaces to support community members to grow, harvest and share food with their families, friends and neighbors. In addition to food producing garden beds these growing spaces also include fruit bushes and trees, native plants and plants to support pollinators. Throughout the year CFI also hosts seed swaps, workshops and potato, seed and plant giveaway events.

Please contact us if you think you might want to get involved!  We're happy to answer any questions and try to make gardening as accessible as possible.  To check on the availability of plots, email us at cfi@communityfoodinitiatives.org or call CFI at (740) 593-5971.
